MEET TYTANNIE
Tytannie M. Harris, LCSW, is a dynamic professional with over 15 years of experience, initially
as an educator and later as a Psychotherapist. Armed with a master’s degree in social work
from Loyola Chicago, Ms. Harris has significantly contributed to mental health as the CEO of
TMH Behavioral Services, a group private practice and behavioral health clinic. TMH is
committed to helping others overcome obstacles in their lives, achieve lasting transformation,
and find peace of mind as their compassionate team of clinicians guides you through the
journey of self-discovery and personal growth. With a focus on culturally relevant care, TMH
aims to support under-resourced communities, ensuring that everyone has access to the
mental health services they deserve.
As a Certified Balance Living Coach, Ms. Harris utilizes her innate gifts to inspire and motivate
individuals, guiding them toward personal, emotional, wellness, financial, relationship, and
professional goals. She is also the founder of TMH MANCAVE, a nonprofit dedicated to
eliminating the stigma around the mental health needs of black men and boys. Tytannie believes
that the healing of the African American communities begins with the men who lead them.
Adding to her impactful contributions, Tytannie serves on the board of directors of Uhlich
Children’s Advantage Network (UCAN) in Chicago, showcasing her commitment to community
service and mental health advocacy. In February of 2020, Tytannie experienced the loss of an
extraordinary soul that I was dear to her heart, - her grandmother, Annie Harris. Her “Granny”
was the rhythm of her life, a woman who gave selflessly and was always ready to lend a hand.
To continue her legacy, Tytannie is on a mission to support black owned small businesses like
herself. Tytannie understands the hurdles that black-owned businesses face in their journey to
success. Therefore, to honor her late grandmother, she created “The Annie Harris Gift Back
Grant’ which awards black business owners with funds to support their business. Tytannie
wants to play her part in fostering collective improvement in her community. Her motto is “If
not US, then WHO??”
In a recent development, Ms. Harris has retired from her role as a psychotherapist. She is now
poised to embark on a new career chapter focused on empowering not only therapists but all
entrepreneurs. Her mission extends to helping others understand the intricacies of building and
sustaining a thriving business in the mental health sector. This transition reflects her
commitment to fostering a community of entrepreneurs equipped with the skills and
knowledge to develop and maintain flourishing businesses, all while prioritizing mental health
throughout their journey.
In summary, Tytannie M. Harris is a multifaceted professional who has transitioned from a
successful career as a psychotherapist to a new role dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs
and small business owners in achieving wealth, success, and overall well-being in their respective
fields.
